CANSail Instructors play a key role in introducing new sailors to the sport, building confidence on the water, and creating safe, fun, and welcoming environments at clubs and programs across the province. Mobile Sailing School Head Sailing Instructor

The Head Sailing Instructor for the Sask Sailing Mobile Sailing School leads all day-to-day operations of the traveling summer program, managing instructors, ensuring participant safety, delivering high-quality sailing lessons, and overseeing all equipment, logistics, and site setup across multiple provincial parks and clubs. This role includes driving the Sask Sailing truck and trailer between locations, maintaining equipment, mentoring junior staff, and acting as a professional representative of Sask Sailing. The position also requires comfort with remote camping during week-long camps and includes a daily per diem to support these travel demands.

Mobile Sailing School Sailing Instructor

The Sailing Instructor for the Sask Sailing Mobile Sailing School supports the Head Instructor in delivering safe, engaging sailing lessons across multiple provincial parks and clubs throughout the summer, helping set up and pack up equipment, assisting with course delivery, and providing hands-on coaching to participants. The role requires professionalism, solid sailing skills, and the ability to operate motorboats. The position also requires comfort with remote camping during week-long camps and includes a daily per diem to support these travel demands.

Mobile Sailing School Assistant Sailing Instructor

The Assistant Sailing Instructor for the Sask Sailing Mobile Sailing School supports the Head Instructor in delivering safe, enjoyable sailing lessons across multiple provincial parks and clubs. Assistants help with setup, cleanup, equipment checks, boat launching and recovery, and providing on-water support to participants. The role requires strong sailing proficiency, professionalism, and the ability to act as a positive on-water role model. The position also requires comfort with remote camping during week-long camps and includes a daily per diem to support these travel demands.

Sask Sailing Summer Administrator

The Summer Administrator supports the Saskatchewan Sailing Clubs Association by handling day-to-day administrative, financial, compliance, and communication tasks that keep the organisation running smoothly through the busy summer season. This role coordinates logistics for the Mobile Sailing School, manages registrations and payments, maintains records and filing systems, assists with grant applications, and contributes to website updates, social media, and promotional materials. Working both remotely and in-office, the Summer Administrator must be organised, adaptable, comfortable working independently, and able to travel to sailing clubs when needed, helping ensure efficient operations across all SSCA programs.
